Powder, Sail and Salt - Turner Inspired sea battle

This Sea battle was inspired by the paintings of Turner, I focused on creating a chaotic smokey battle sceane with ghostly ships illuminated by the fire of cannon and shot. The dynamic sea battles of Empite Total war had a key influence on this artwork. In hindsight the lighting in this sceane is inaccurate but for a fast and emotive depiciton of the sea battle concept I feel it still works.
